Canon Digital Rebel - Which One to Choose - XSi, T1i or X1i

However, there is a sort of progression in the rebel figures. The first was the Canon Rebel 300D, then came the 350D, 400D, 450D, 1000D, and finally, the 500D. No idea how the camera got in there with the number 1000D. It was not very popular, so perhaps the uneven number has something to do. The most popular of the Canon Rebels, the XSi and the T1i. And both are awesome piece of photographic equipment.

The Rebel series was popular in the past twoGroups of people.

Group 1 - new DSLR buyers say. They, the people who are in motion at a point and shoot camera to their first DSLR camera.

Group 2 - Rebel current owner. It is amazing to see, to buy as many holders of the newest Canon Rebel Rebel release. Sometimes they become a skip, but it is a group of people who are loyal to the Rebel line.

And for good reason. The Canon Rebel was excellent at each release. Canonconsistently its technology standards with each new camera raised, and buyers are very satisfied with their purchases. This goes a long way still being perceived that Canon sells cameras and makes it one of the top two DSLR manufacturers, the other is Nikon.

OK, so what about the Canon Rebel XSi vs. Canon Rebel T1i? As already mentioned, like the two big cameras, which are also those who purchased them. In a comparison of image quality, it would bebe difficult to see for the average person, the differences in the prints of the two cameras side by side. You may even need some coaching to find any at all. Thus, both are almost identical image quality can. The Canon T1i will produce a slightly larger picture, because it has almost 3 MP more capacity than the XSi, but the size of 12-15 megapixels, this is not an issue (unless you are a prude megapixel).

Some other improvements on the Canon Rebel T1i include:

Extended ISO range up to ISO 12800
HD video capability
New 3.0-inch screen, 920K pixels
Creative Auto
Face Detection in Live View
Larger buffers in continuous shooting
Digic 4 style menu design
From these differences, are the ones who could be subject to most, for the first time DSLR buyers:

HD Video feature - if you move from a compact digital camera will be used with video capabilities. But be aware that the camera is not aCamcorder. While he has excellent video recording, there are two things you need to know. First, there is no stereo sound or mic input. Second, the length of the recording is pretty much shorter than for a specific camcorder.
3 "LCD screen with 920K pixels resolution. This is a very big improvement in the ability to see the screen in bright light. XSi The output is only 230K pixels.
Creative car - this set of functions allows the photographer the camera to say whatConditions which he rotates in and what he wants to be the issue. Basically, says that Canon Creative Auto, you can learn to DSLR photography, while still get good photos during the learning process.
Face Detection in Live View - this is a new feature for many DSLRs which is wholly in the common point and shoot cameras. It is an added bonus, if you are used to it.I think that the two cameras, a fantastic fit for everyone, with the exception of the extreme amateur wouldor professional photographers.
Each camera in the Digital Rebel series has been fantastic images their owners. Mine certainly does not. And these two cameras are no different. Both are highly recommended.

Would be given the above information, why not just go get a Canon Rebel T1i? The answer is COST. The Rebel XSi is about $ 150 less than their younger siblings. So, if you think the improvements are enough for you to peel out another $ 150, then the Canon Rebel T1i is the right choice. If thisFunctions can not take it so important to you than the ability, great photos and even change lenses if you change the output, the Canon Rebel XSi is the right choice.
